Terms and Conditions for H&H Construction

We are the owners of a new house in the Shoreside holiday home development at Fearnan, Perthshire. As a structural engineer in house design, I have been impressed with the quality of the construction of the houses all the way through from foundation stages to completion. This very much applies to the final results - the quality of the finishing and detailing is excellent to the point we had effectively zero snagging issues. As well as the quality of the construction, H&H have been a pleasure to work with dealing with queries and changes very quickly and effectively.  The site staff have also been friendly and helpful which has been appreciated as the work moves to completion on the final houses.

H&H Construction have carried out various works to date on properties managed by Savills. Not only have the prices they have quoted been extremely competitive but the work has been carried out promptly, to a high standard and with the minimum of fuss.

We had a very good experience with H&H who were on time, no hidden extras and achieved a workmanship of the highest quality. All the team were incredibly friendly, helpful and not intrusive.

The renovation works carried out to our steading property in 2009 were undertaken in a thoroughly professional and timely manner and with minimum disturbance to our occupation of the house. The scope of works included the demolition of internal walls, modification of electrical and central heating systems and the construction of new walls and ceilings, installation of kitchen units and timber floor finishes. We would not hesitate to recommend H&H Construction for other projects in Central Scotland.

After using three Scottish firms for 3 conversions in the last few years, we were pleased to have been introduced to you by our architect and I thank god we were.  H&H have surpassed all quality and reliability standards by a country mile and not only will we only use you in the future, we won’t stop recommending you to others who want to finally be blessed with a builder who actually does what they promise – every time.

H & H Construction have now carried out a number of property maintenance contracts for Bell Ingram. Quotations have been received promptly and the work has always been carried out to a high standard by experienced, friendly staff. We would not hesitate to recommend them to clients or other customers.

H and H have completed a fairly substantial piece if work needing scaffolding all round our house. This could have been highly disruptive and inconvenient, but it turned out to be relatively trouble-free. H&H Construction completed the conversion to living accommodation on our Grade 2 historically listed, derelict barn on time, on budget (even found a few savings), and sensitive to all we wanted and hoped for.  All the H&H staff who worked on our buildings were pleasant, interested, committed, trustworthy, polite, and a pleasure to have in our lives!  The work from quoting to completion was to the highest standard, and at all times professional and attentive.  We highly recommend H&H Construction to anyone.

H & H Construction completed a project  which had to be carried out & completed during school holidays so planning and timescale were critical. This was completed to a high standard, on time & with minimal disruption. We would certainly use H & H in the future.

We worked alongside H&H Construction on a large residential refurbishment. As a main contractor they were very easy to work with: resourceful, organised, with excellent levels of workmanship and a high level of care for the client’s property. The site team were well-managed on a day-to- day basis and Haldane Lindsay himself was a regular and effective presence. Communications and site meetings were methodical and practical and the entire project was efficiently handled in terms of both schedule and budget. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

We used H and H to carry out complex renovations at the Atholl Arms Hotel in Dunkeld. The end result was a project completed within budget, excellent workmanship and all completed within a very tight time frame. I would have no hesitation in using H and H Construction for future projects that we will be carrying out.
